This is the one song on the album I didn't create from scratch. My homie Mali flew out from Tulsa, Oklahoma. This was the first song he played me during the session. He had his part already done. As soon as I heard it I knew it was the one. It had such a unique sound and it immediately reminded me of a blissful week I spent in Toronto during my second visit.

Canadian Thanksgiving, October 2019. This is the week I fell in love with my ex. We spent nearly every moment of that trip together and it's still the best memory of an otherwise failed relationship. At that particular moment, I thought that we would last forever. The euphoric feeling of the music matched the way that I felt about that moment in time. Waking up every day in a top floor, west end apartment. Across the street from a beautiful French church on Bloor St. That was a magical week.
